Vote for you GCIS UK January Player of the Month

3 February 2021

Stevenage supporters can now vote for their GCIS (UK) Ltd Player of the Month Award for January 2021...

The month saw Stevenage pick up eight points, the Club's best monthly total this season with wins over Scunthorpe and Grimsby, in addition to draws against Tranmere and Colchester. Stevenage also performed valiantly despite defeat against the Championship's Swansea City in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round.

Our shortlist for the January Player of the Month is as follows:

  • Terence Vancooten: Nominated for the second straight month, Vancooten has continued his impressive form at the heart of defence, which has seen him be ranked 17th out of all League Two players in the WhoScored statistical player ratings.
  • Luther James-Wildin: His second nomination this season, James-Wildin has been a consistent performer down the right hand side of the team, culminating in his stand-out assist for Matty Stevens' late winner at Grimsby.
  • Charlie Carter: Alongside Vancooten, Carter is also nominated for the second straight month after showing his versatility, energy and quality, highlighted with his two-goal haul in the win against Scunthorpe.
  • Elliott List: Winner of the September Player of the Month, List has been back to his best in January, scoring twice, away at Exeter City and Grimsby.
