The 35-year-old Goalkeeper, best known for his spells at Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion, joins up with Alex Revell’s squad after Jamie Cumming suffered an ankle injury in Stevenage’s match against Grimsby at the weekend.
“With Jamie being out for a couple of weeks and Billy Johnson still young and learning his trade, it was vital that we brought in another Goalkeeper and we couldn’t be more pleased to bring in someone of David’s calibre," Alex Revell said.
“He will be a fantastic addition to the team both on the pitch and in the changing room.”
Stockdale is available for selection in tonight’s game against Exeter City, which is available for supporters to stream with an iFollow Match Pass.
