Stevenage Football Club has appointed Romain Vincelot as the new First Team Fitness Coach…
Following his retirement from professional football at the end of last season, Romain joins Alex Revell’s backroom staff with a depth of experience spanning his 17-years as a player and now moves to a new career in the game as he completes a BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science Degree with Manchester Metropolitan University.
“We are delighted to announce that Romain is joining our management team as First Team Fitness Coach,” manager Alex Revell said.
“He has been the ultimate professional in his football career. His work ethic, high standards, commitment and passion are all attributes we value and promote at this Club. He will be an integral part of our staff as we continue to build on what we achieved last season.
He is very focused on his next steps and, as in his football career, he will strive to be the best and work relentlessly until he achieves that goal”.
Romain Vincelot’s first match in the dugout will be on Saturday 10th July 2021 for Stevenage’s pre-season fixture at Hitchin Town.
