Stevenage Football Club welcome volunteers to The Lamex Stadium to celebrate St John’s Day...
The Club today welcomed 17 volunteers from St John Ambulance to the Lamex Stadium to celebrate St John Day. This year’s celebrations provided the opportunity to say thank you to the organisations volunteers, who have been working tirelessly through the pandemic and vaccination rollout across the UK.
Currently Hertfordshire have Volunteers supporting eight vaccination sites. St John have recruited nearly 30,000 volunteers nationwide, with volunteers supporting eight vaccination sites.
Hertfordshire’s County President of St John Ambulance, Dr Deborah Taverner said “In Hertfordshire our St John members support the Ambulance Service out of the Stevenage Hub and provide support at the Lister Hospital. This is on top of the slow return of Event Cover, notably we recently covered three days at the Hertfordshire County Show.”
