The referee has taken charge of fifteen games so far this season, handing out a total of sixty-two cards. Of those sixty-two, six of them have been red cards, including two last Saturday in the Sky Bet League One fixture between Burton Albion and Charlton. The Tuesday prior, he handed out yet another red card in the Papa John’s Trophy tie between Sheffield Wednesday and Harrogate Town.
Saturday’s match will be Kettle’s second Stevenage fixture of the season. His first being the 2-1 defeat to Sutton United at Gander Green Lane in September of this year. In that match, Terence Vancooten was handed a red on the hour mark and four yellow cards were revealed.
Kettle will be joined by Assistants Dean Treleaven and Stephen Finch with Paul Lister as Fourth Official.
