What can I bring to The Lamex Stadium?

18 November 2021

With the 2021/22 season underway, Stevenage Football Club would like to provide an update to supporters regarding the safety and security arrangements at The Lamex Stadium...

Following a season behind-closed-doors, Stevenage Football Club reiterate the importance of the safety of our supporters, players, officials and staff. Working alongside our safety advisory group, local police and other partners, we continually review our procedures to ensure the safety and security of everyone attending The Lamex Stadium.

Since the return of fans after the pandemic, the Club encourages supporters to arrive at the ground in good time to reduce the need for queuing and the time it takes to get into the stadium. Arriving early allows for searching upon entry, which remains a condition of entry to The Lamex Stadium.

Stevenage Football Club also highlights items that are prohibited in accordance with best practice guidance for crowded spaces, such as football stadiums. Following review, the most notable modification to this list of items is the prohibition of thermal flasks which has been added due to the concealment of hazardous and prohibited items.

These changes are not designed to make visiting The Lamex Stadium more difficult, but to ensure safety and minimise risks for those attending.

A full list of prohibited items can be found here.

Should any supporter require dispensation to bring in a prohibited item into the stadium, please contact info@stevenagefc.com in advance of the visit and your query will be resolved.

Please note, this update will be effective as of the Colchester United fixture on Saturday 20th November 2021.
