Trials for Stevenage FC Academy’s Education & Development Programme are to be held at Marriotts School from Monday 25th October…
Following the success of the intake for the 2021/22 season, the Club is pleased to announce the first round of trials for the 2022/23 campaign.
Taking place on Monday 25th October at Marriotts School, current year 11 and 12 students are invited to showcase their footballing during a training session in the first part of a two-day trial. The following day, candidates are invited to an EDP fixture against another education development side.
The coaching is delivered by UEFA qualified coaches who have Safeguarding accreditations and Enhanced DBS checks. All coaches have a vast amount of experience of coaching at elite levels.
Alongside the coaching, the education side allows student to gain a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport. The Level 3 BTEC is the equivalent of gaining 3 A Levels.

The Trial will take place on 3G pitches and players will be required to wear suitable training kit, shin pads, boots suitable for the 3G surface and a water bottle/sports drink.
