Ben Toner has been appointed Match Referee for the Papa John’s Trophy tie between Stevenage and Oxford United this evening at the Kassam Stadium…
The referee has taken charge of ten games so far throughout this campaign, handing out twenty-two yellow cards. In addition to this, his red card made its first appearance of the season last month in a Sky Bet League Two clash between Bradford and Walsall.
His most recent Stevenage fixture occurred towards the end of last season as Alex Revell’s men travelled to Oldham and earned a 1-0 victory through a Scott Cuthbert header. Three yellow cards were handed out that day.
Toner will be joined by Assistants Richard Morris and Greg Read with Darren Wilding as Fourth Official.
