The time has come to vote for your Stevenage FC August Goal of the Month...

With a host of crackers to choose from across our host of Boro sides varying from the First Team, Academy, and the Women’s team there's plenty of competition this month.

Goal A – Jake Reeves vs Barrow AFC

The ball was cutback to Jake Reeves, who fired into the roof of the net from within the box after superb play from Jamie Reid high up the field. The Lamex Stadium exploded in celebration when the home supporters witnessed their first league goal since January 2020.

Goal B - Jake Watkiss vs Southend

An unbelievable team goal, built up through the thirds and ends with Finlay Johnson teeing up Watkiss to emphatically finish.

Goal C - Harry Gilzean vs Northampton

Sam Tinubu finds some space on the left flank to power forward, then plays a beautiful ball into the box for it to be crossed back post for Harry Glizean to catch it on the volley and smash it past the keeper.

Goal D – Luke Norris vs Bristol Rovers

Jake Reeves carried the ball deep into his own half, finding Luke Norris in acres of space, who tucked home calmly in the bottom right-hand corner.

Goal E – James Daly vs Tottenham U21s

James Daly opened his goal scoring campaign with a thunderbolt strike. Daly picked the ball up on the edge of the box and shifted it to his left foot before realising a peach of a strike that nestled into the top right hand corner of the goal.

Supporters have until 5pm on Friday 10th September to cast their vote.
