Stevenage supporters can now vote for their GCIS (UK) Ltd Player of the Month Award for August 2021...
As we saw the 2021/22 season return and finally welcomed back the return of fans, Alex Revell's men picked up seven points from their opening five games.
Our shortlist for the August Player of the Month is as follows:
Joseph Anang: After signing on loan from West Ham United in the summer, Joseph Anang's start to his Stevenage career has been relentless to say the least. With two penalty shootouts faced, four penalties saved and two cleansheets, the young stopper looks to be set for a character building season at The Lamex Stadium.
Jake Taylor: The former Exeter City captain has started his Stevenage career as or even better than expected, and is already one of the first names on Alex Revell's teamsheet. Boro's number eight played every single minute of our league campaign in August, commanding and dictating play from the middle of the park from the off.
Elliott List: Stevenage's 2020/21 Player of the Season did not have to wait long to get his shooting boots back on after a well deserved summer break, opening his account in Boro's second game of the season against Luton Town. Goals against Bradford City and Wycombe Wanderers followed to ensure List remains at the top of the Club's goalscoring charts.
Jake Reeves: The former Brentford and Wimbledon man had the dream start to his Stevenage career, scoring the winner and picking up the Man of the Match award in the opening day victory vs Barrow. Reeves' form continued at Bristol Rovers the following weekend, setting up Luke Norris to seal the victory with the final kick.
