The referee certainly has not shied away from using his card this campaign so far, handing out a total of 29 cards in seven games. Four of those cards were red cards, including three in one game in the League One clash between Shrewsbury and Gillingham last month.
His most recent Stevenage fixture came last season where he was appointed Match Referee in Boro’s cup upset victory against Hull City in 2020.
Allison will be joined by Assistants Conor Farrell and Daniel Bonneywell with Stuart Butler as Fourth Official.
