The experienced referee officiated in the inaugural Premier League season, overseeing games which included goals from Premier League legends Alan Shearer, Eric Cantona and Ryan Giggs. So far this season he has refereed twenty-eight EFL encounters, dishing out eighty-nine yellow cards as well as three reds.
Lewis’ most recent Boro fixture was in February as the side travelled to Crawley Town. Stevenage managed to come back from 2-0 down to earn a point through goals from Arthur Read and Scott Cuthbert.
Lewis will be joined by Assistants Damith Bandara and Anthony Da Costa with Paul Kelly as Fourth Official.
