Officials: Oldham appointed for Port Vale fixture

25 February 2022

Scott Oldham has been appointed Match Referee for Stevenage’s away fixture against Port Vale this Saturday in Sky Bet League Two…

The referee has officiated in The Football League since the 2017/18 campaign, with his first Stevenage match being a victory at The Lamex against Grimsby Town in which the visitors were reduced to ten men. So far this season, Oldham has overseen twenty-eight EFL fixtures, handing out eighty-two yellow cards and just two reds in the process. His most recent EFL fixture was earlier this week in Sky Bet League One as Oxford United picked up a 1-0 victory against Crewe Alexandra.

The last time Oldham was the man in the middle for a Stevenage match was November of last year as Boro travelled to Rochdale and earned a point on the road thanks to an Elliott List brace. Two yellow cards were dished out in that game, including one each for Scott Cuthbert and Max Melbourne.

Oldham will be joined by Assistants Geoffrey Russell and Bradley Hall with Danny Gratton as Fourth Official.
