Gavin Ward has been appointed Match Referee for Stevenage’s Sky Bet League Two fixture with Bradford City this evening…
The referee has overseen twenty-four EFL matches this campaign, predominantly EFL Championship contests. He certainly hasn’t shied away from revealing his cards, handing out ninety-one yellow cards and three reds. Ward’s most recent fixture was a Championship clash between Huddersfield and Stoke City in which five yellows were dished out.
The last time Ward was the man in the middle for a Sky Bet League Two Boro match was on New Year’s Day 2018 as Stevenage won 4-1 at home to Cheltenham. Tom Pett scored a brace on the day with Matt Godden and Danny Newton also on the scoresheet.
Ward will be joined by Assistants Michael George and Adam Crysell with Brett Huxtable as Fourth Official.
