Chairman Phil Wallace, speaking from the US, said, "The number and quality of applicants is really encouraging. We have a strong reputation in the marketplace and it is encouraging to see so many quality candidates applying for the position.
Our plan is to find the right person during February and have them head up a new era for us shortly thereafter. We are currently investing strongly in the management and team to get us away from the bottom of League Two and back to League One.
The stadium and training ground upgrade is complete and, within our means, we are supporting Paul Tisdale to bring some long awaited success on the pitch".
