The referee has been an EFL official since 2018/19 and this season he has overseen twenty-two fixtures. Wright has handed out sixty-nine yellow cards this campaign along with two reds. His most recent EFL match was just over two weeks ago as Wycombe defeated Bolton in Sky Bet League One, with four yellow cards being dished out.
The last time Wright was the man in the middle for a Stevenage fixture was last season as Boro travelled to Southend for a 0-0 draw behind closed doors. The referee handed out four yellow cards that day, including one for Luke Prosser.
Wright will be joined by Leigh Crowhurst and Christopher Kidd with Paul Lister as Fourth Official.
