Martin Coy has been appointed Match Referee for Saturday’s vital Sky Bet League Two clash at Victoria Park between Stevenage and Hartlepool United…
The referee has been officiating in The EFL since the 2017/18 campaign. So far this season, he has overseen seventeen fixtures, handing out thirty-seven yellow cards with just the one red. Coy’s only red card of the season was shown back in August, reducing Rotherham to ten men in their 2-0 victory against Rotherham in Sky Bet League One.
The most recent Stevenage fixture Coy took charge of was Boro’s defeat to Bradford earlier in the season despite an Elliott List first-half equaliser. Just the one yellow card was dished out in that match.
Coy will be joined by Assistants Wayne Grunnill and Bradley Hall with Christopher Ward as Fourth Official.
