9 January 2022

Stevenage Football Club have today started the recruitment process for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to replace Alex Tunbridge, who will be leaving the Club in April after three and a half years as CEO...

Applications from suitably qualified candidates are now invited. The primary purpose of the role will be to oversee the operations of the Club, reporting to the Chairman and the Board.

Leading the day-to-day operations of the Club, the successful candidate will inspire and manage the Club’s staff, as well as maintain and strengthen relationships with existing stakeholders.

Particular focus will be given to developing the Club’s engagement levels with the local community and supporter base, seeking always to maximise new and existing commercial revenue streams whilst ensuring financial prudence and sustainability at all times.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in football administration at a high level, with a personality and work ethic to lead by example. A generous remuneration package is available for the right candidate.

Chairman Phil Wallace said, "This is an opportunity for someone with experience and the right qualities to step up to the highest level of football administration and help drive our Club forwards. With new manager Paul Tisdale at the helm, we are looking to develop a vibrant, thriving, successful club that engages with its supporters and achieves success on and off the pitch".

Please apply to the Chairman, with full CV and a covering letter to jenniec@stevenagefc.com.
