- Stay Safe in the Hot Weather…
With the temperature at kick-off expected to be around 33° this evening, we have a few bits of core advice for supporters to adhere to both for the game and generally during hot weather:
Stayed hydrated - drink plenty of water; tea & coffee are also good alternatives. An increased stock of water bottles have also been made available at our Tea Bars inside the stadium.
Due to the exceptional circumstances tonight's game is taking place in, the Club is allowing supporters to bring in their own water supplies in clear, plastic bottles. Remember, alcohol in advance of the game will add to dehydration issues in hot weather.
Seek shade when possible - keep out of direct sunlight by staying indoors or in shaded areas.
Use sun cream - make sure you apply sunscreen when outdoors and wear protective clothing such as caps and sunglasses.
Look out for others - be alert to the needs of those who may be vulnerable to the heat and if they are showing signs of being unwell.
Seek assistance early - if you start to feel unwell, stewards and medical staff are here to assist you.
