Stevenage Football Club has agreed terms with defender Kane Smith…
The 26-year-old, who can play on the right side of both defence and midfield, joins Stevenage after five seasons at Boreham Wood in the National League, making over 160 appearances for our Hertfordshire neighbours.
“I’m over the moon to get it done”, said Smith. “It has been a long time coming, we’ve been in talks since earlier this summer. I’m delighted to have got it over the line and meet all of the lads today.

Kane Smith becomes Steve Evans’ tenth new signing of the summer and joined up with the squad at Bragbury End for the first training session of pre-season today.
