Stevenage Football Club has agreed terms with left-back Max Clark…
The 26-year-old, who can also play in midfield, joins the Club after playing 23 times for Rochdale last season following his move from Fleetwood Town in January.
The former England U18 international progressed through the youth ranks at Hull City before enjoying his debut season in the Championship in 2017/2018. Clark’s performances earned him European football with a move to the Netherlands at Vitesse, making 46 appearances in the Eredivisie over two seasons.
“I am delighted to be here”, said Max Clark. “I have been talking to the manager for a couple of weeks now, and they have always been positive conversations. He spoke of his ambitions for the new season, and that made me want to be here.
I will give 100% every time I put on a shirt, work hard for the boys and give everything I have. I want to achieve things here and be up there fighting for promotion, and the manager feels the same way too”.
