The referee is one of the most experienced in the EFL, having officiated for two decades. So far this season, he has overseen twenty-one games, handing out seventy-nine yellow cards and four reds. Three of those reds card have come in Boyeson’s last four matches.
The last time Boyeson refereed a Stevenage fixture was in September of last year as Boro travelled to Harrogate Town for a 0-0 draw. Four yellow cards were dished out in that game including one each for Luther James-Wildin, Scott Cuthbert and Jake Reeves.
Boyeson will be joined by Assistants Christopher Wade and Justin Amey with Adam Ricketts as Fourth Official.
