Darren Drysdale has been appointed Match Referee for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture between Stevenage and Leyton Orient…
The experienced referee has been officiating in the Football League for almost eighteen years, with his first season being the 2004/05 campaign. So far this season, Drsydale has overseen twenty-six games, handing out eighty-nine yellow cards and three reds in the process. The first red card he revealed this campaign was in Accrington Stanley’s 1-0 win against Crewe Alexandra in which Drysdale handed out ten yellow cards.
His most recent Stevenage fixture was last season as Orient came to The Lamex and walked away with all three points after a 2-0 win. Two yellow cards were dished out in that game, with one each for Remeao Hutton and Aramide Oteh.
Drysdale will be joined by Assistants Daniel Flynn and Mark Derrien with Gareth Viccars as Fourth Official.
