Stevenage Football Club has agreed terms with defender Carl Piergianni…
The 30-year-old centre back joins Stevenage with over 100 EFL appearances to his name, following spells at Salford City and most recently Oldham Athletic where he was captain for the Latics.
“I am delighted to be here”, said Piergianni upon signing. “I am happy to be on board and I’m ready to go for the new season now”.
“I will always give 100% commitment, that willingness to die for the shirt and I hope to spur my teammates on to fight to win every game. I am looking forward to meeting the supporters and getting started”.
Subject to FA and EFL approval, Piergianni adds a depth of experience to Steve Evans’ new look Boro, becoming the manager’s third signing after Michael Bostwick and Aaron Chapman earlier today.
