The referee has overseen 27 EFL fixtures so far this season, dishing out 61 yellow cards as well as three reds. In March of this year, Coy handed out two red cards in one game as Wigan and Fleetwood both saw a man sent off in the dying moments of the game.
The last time Coy was in charge of a Stevenage fixture was in January 2022 as Boro travelled to Hartlepool in Sky Bet League Two. The sides drew 1-1 on the day with Luke Norris converting from the penalty spot.
Coy will be joined by Assistants Paul Lister and Geoffrey Russell with Sam Allison as Fourth Official.
