Stevenage Football Club is seeking to recruit an experienced Sports Turf & Grounds Operative to join the team...
Reporting directly to the Club’s Head of Grounds Staff the individual will control the development, maintenance and preparation of the Academy training ground.
Focus will primarily be on the day to day preparation of pitches however, duties will also include the maintenance of all subsidiary areas across these sites including horticultural duties and maintenance of the 3G surfaces.
Candidates will hold a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role and have an NVQ level 2 in Sports Turf and/or be aspiring to work towards level 3.
The role will require a commitment towards working weekends and evenings, as well as Bank Holidays in line with the relevant fixtures schedules. Time back in leu shall be provided.
