Two key appointments at Stevenage FC

16 September 2022

Stevenage Football Club confirms that Jorden Gibson has been promoted to the role of Academy Manager, with effect from 1st September…

Jorden takes over from Robbie O’Keefe who left the club in May this year.

Also new to The Lamex Stadium is Liam Warren as the Club’s new Safety Officer. He replaces Steve Reed who has been in place since 2017.

Chairman Phil Wallace said, “There are a lot of changes being made as we seek to move the Club to a different position – not only in the league table, but off the pitch in many areas.

Jordan has a good all-round knowledge of how an Academy works and impressed us all in the period after Robbie left. His work ethic and enthusiasm will hopefully see us improve all aspects of the Academy, whilst Chris Agutter and Ronnie Henry continue their impressive work with our scholars.

Liam joins us as our new Safety Officer with a brief to foster a safe, family friendly atmosphere within the Stadium on matchdays and to increase the number of Club stewards that we train to deliver the customer facing service we want to see.

Steve leaves us with our sincere thanks for his five years of service and for his dedication to safety within the Stadium”.
