Stevenage FC Women to play at The Lamex Stadium tonight

6 September 2022

Stevenage FC Women will play a competitive fixture at The Lamex Stadium for the first time ever on Tuesday 6 September…

Kicking off at 7.45pm against Colney Heath Ladies, this special fixture comes after a great summer for Women’s football after both The Lionesses’ European Championship success and Stevenage’s County Cup victory in March.

The Club is encouraging supporters to show their support for the Women’s side in their promotion push from the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division. Now is the time to capitalise on recent success and continue the growing momentum of women’s football.

“I am absolutely delighted that the Women’s team will be playing at The Lamex Stadium on September 6th”, said General Manager of Stevenage FC Women, Dani Toyn.

“It is an opportunity we have been waiting for and we are very grateful to everyone at the Club for supporting our first home game of the season. We would love for as many people as possible to come and show their support. I cannot wait for our Women’s team to have the opportunity to showcase their talent at The Lamex in front of what will hopefully be a great crowd’.

Match tickets cost just £5 for Adults and £2 for Under 18s, with West Stand tickets now available to purchase from www.borotickets.co.uk.

Please note, 2022/23 Season Ticket holders do not receive free entry to this fixture at The Lamex Stadium. For other Stevenage FC Women fixtures at the Herts FA County Ground, the 2022/23 ST Holder benefit still stands.
