“I have huge respect for their manager, Gary Caldwell. A fellow Glaswegian, we did our UEFA Pro licence together and spent some great learning times together.
“He has built a really good squad of players, and they are enjoying a great early season.
Stevenage continue to miss several First Team players for tonight's fixture through injury, but Evans remains in positive spirits.
“We travel depleted again by injuries, but we will focus on the available lads - plus, we have a few youth team lads with us who deserve this experience. There are a few more knocking on the door too, so all is good here”.
