Players from Stevenage Football Club's Men's & Women's teams visited Lister Hospital on Tuesday evening to spread Christmas cheer to the staff and patients of the Bluebell Children's Ward...
The players were accompanied by members of the Supporters' Association, Club staff and of course Boro Bear to hand out gifts and engage with over fifty patients and their families.
Luther James-Wildin, Terence Vancooten, Nick Freeman and Kane Smith were joined by Lucy Webster, Grace Brooks, Kristal Clarke and Tilly Filder of the Women's team.
This event relies on a number of people's help for it to happen. The hospital staff who make us so very welcome, the catering provided by W J Rowe (Bedwell) and gift items from The Works (Westgate), the Boro' Shop, the players and support staff.
Last but by no means least the Supporters Association whose members contribute directly to this and our thanks also go to Jacky Berners, Claire Hickey and Andy Mugridge.
