The Boro captain won the supporters’ poll with over 34% of votes, beating off competition from Taye Ashby-Hammond, Jordan Roberts and Jamie Reid.
Piergianni led his Stevenage teammates to clean sheet wins over Gillingham and Leyton Orient, as well as the astounding FA Cup upset at Villa Park. The Boro captain also continues to demonstrate his threat in the opponent’s penalty area, scoring goals at home to The Gills and away at Harrogate Town.
