Boro backing Level Playing Field vs Tranmere Rovers

20 February 2023

Stevenage Football Club is proud to participate in Level Playing Field’s new national campaign, 'Unite For Access' – a celebration of accessibility and inclusion for disabled sports fans…

Boro’s clash with Tranmere Rovers at The Lamex Stadium on Saturday 25th February will be the Club’s dedicated Level Playing Field fixture, a charity which aims to showcase the good work being done by clubs and organisations to improve accessibility and inclusion across all sports.

As a club, we believe that all people should be able to attend live sports, regardless of disability. We are committed to making Stevenage Football Club accessible to all, and will continue to take steps to improve, but we also call on all supporters to come with us on this journey, we all have our part to play.

To celebrate Level Playing Field’s ‘Unite For Access’ campaign, we are looking forward to once again welcoming Hertfordshire Adult Disability Service’s ‘Purple All-Stars’ to perform a unique Stevenage-related dance routine on the pitch.

As well as this, the Stevenage starting eleven will wear Level Playing Field warm-up tops ahead of kick-off, while First Team Manager Steve Evans will be sporting a LPF pin badge.
