The 25-year-old joins on a permanent deal from League One Forest Green Rovers, where he made 90 appearances and played a key part in their 2021/22 League Two winning campaign.
Josh March becomes Boro’s fourth signing of the January transfer window, bolstering the squad’s attacking options ahead of the second half of the season.
“We are delighted to get Josh here after a six-month chase”, said manager Steve Evans. “Leon Hunter and our Chairman Phil Wallace deserve enormous credit for the patience and work it took to get this done against some serious competition for the lad’s signature.
He is everything we were looking for. He is quick, has a great work ethic and is a goal scorer, joining Jamie Reid, Luke Norris and Danny Rose to compete for a place in our team.
Josh made it clear that Stevenage was his much-preferred option and despite the six months it has taken, he is now a Boro boy”.
