Stevenage Football Club announces that Tottenham Hotspur record appearance holder Steve Perryman will be the next guest speaker in our Sportsman’s Dinner series…
The event will be held at The Lamex Stadium on Thursday 16th March at 7pm, with tables of 8 and 10 available at £60 per person (plus VAT).
As usual, we’ll be serving a traditional three course dinner, expertly cooked in house by our resident Chef Tony Start and supporting Steve Perryman on the night will be a top line comedian from the After Dinner circuit.
Perryman played 655 games for Spurs, before moving briefly to Oxford United and then finishing his playing career at Brentford, combining the role of manager too.
He then managed Watford and Spurs before working in Japan for three seasons, managing in the J-League.
One of the most accomplished speakers currently working, he has some fantastic stories to tell of his time in the game, playing with and against some of the most famous names in world football.
It’s very rare for us to re-book speakers for Sportsman’s Dinners, but due to Steve’s popularity and wit, he’ll be appearing here for a third time, due to the demand for places on his earlier shows.
