Stevenage Football Club has agreed an undisclosed fee with Peterborough United for the transfer of Ben Thompson, subject to EFL/FA approval…
The 27-year-old midfielder joins Steve Evans’ side with over 200 appearances in the EFL, including five seasons in the Championship with his first club Millwall. Thompson joins from League One Peterborough United, having also spent time in the same division with Gillingham and Portsmouth.
“I’m looking forward to getting started”, said Ben Thompson upon signing. “I’ve played against the Manager’s teams for several years now and I’ve have always liked the way he does things - I’m delighted to get this over the line”.
