Stevenage Football Club has agreed terms with defender Nathan Thompson, subject to EFL and FA approval…
The 32-year-old joins Stevenage with over 300 League One appearances for Peterborough United, Portsmouth and Swindon Town.
Thompson has been a consistent top-six League One performer since making his professional debut in 2010 and earned promotion to the Championship with Peterborough in 2021.
“I’ve had good discussions with the manager about what we are looking to achieve this season”, the defender said upon signing. “Having played against Stevenage numerous times, it’s always been a tough game. Now, I’m looking forward to being on the other side and seeing what we can achieve”.
