On Tuesday, Carl visited Marriotts school to spend time with Stevenage-supporting students, answering questions in a Q&A session before stepping onto the newly laid 3G surface for the first time.
Students, youth football clubs and other community organisations will now be able to benefit from the all-weather pitch in our community.
Beth Honnor, the Headteacher at Marriotts School, said, “The new 3G pitch surface with FA certification means we can continue to provide our students and local community with world-class facilities to continue to promote football and other sporting activities”.
Stevenage Football Club prides itself on being at the heart of its community and continues to champion local grassroots clubs and organisations.
