  • Football Welcomes

Stevenage Football Club is joining football clubs across the country this month to welcome refugees and people seeking asylum, as part of Amnesty International’s Football Welcomes campaign, by wearing warm-up shirts ahead of the game.

Stevenage FC Foundation has been running free-to-play Premier League Kicks sessions at Novotel Stevenage as part of the Club's Football Welcomes activity. The sessions provide a safe space for the hotel’s asylum seekers to engage in constructive activities, including sports, music & coaching.

We are one of many clubs from across the Premier League, English Football League, FA Women’s Super League, Championship and National League, Cymru North and South, and grassroots teams that have signed up to take part in Football Welcomes.
