Boro backing Level Playing Field vs Blackpool on Saturday

2 February 2024

Stevenage Football Club is proud to support Level Playing Field on Saturday 3rd February 2024 in our League One fixture vs Blackpool…

Saturday’s clash with Blackpool at The Lamex Stadium will be the Club’s dedicated Level Playing Field fixture, a charity which aims to showcase the good work being done by clubs and organisations to improve accessibility and inclusion across all sports.

We are committed to making Stevenage Football Club accessible to all, and will continue to take steps to improve, but we also call on all supporters to come with us on this journey, we all have our part to play.

To celebrate Level Playing Field and their campaign for an inclusive matchday experience and equal access for all disabled sports fans, we have several activities happening at The Lamex on matchday.

The First Team will don Level Playing Field shirts during the warm-up, while Manager Steve Evans will be sporting a LPF pin badge.

Wheelchair user and North Stand regular Elliot Hyde (above, right) will lead the teams out onto the pitch before kick-off, before Purple All-Stars - Hertfordshire Adult Disability Service’s dance troupe - will once again perform a Boro-related dance routine on the pitch at half-time to deliver important inclusion and equality messages.
