Stevenage celebrating International Women’s Day vs Fleetwood

6 March 2024

Boro’s home clash vs Fleetwood Town on Saturday 9th March 2024 in Sky Bet League One will be dedicated to International Women’s Day…

Stevenage Football Club is proud to be dedicating our home fixture with Fleetwood Town to International Women’s Day (March 8th), with several activities planned on the day of the game at The Lamex Stadium.

In celebration of the occasion, each player from Stevenage FC Women’s First Team and Development squad has been invited to take part in a lap of honour at The Lamex Stadium at half-time, while all players within the Stevenage FC Women & Girls’ Pathway have the opportunity to attend with an adult for just £10.

Our stadium host Jamie Drackford will also be discussing #IWD2024 with a number of women and girls throughout the matchday.

The Club is also happy to continue its partnership with #HerGameToo, celebrating their incredible work in highlighting gender inequality and sexism in football, while promoting the game as one that is inclusive for all.

As always, Stevenage FC remains committed to continuously developing a positive, all-inclusive culture within the Club for players, staff, volunteers, and supporters.

We pride ourselves on delivering a family-friendly matchday experience for all supporters, while promoting an equal opportunities environment irrespective of people’s faith, gender, race, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability.

Fans can anonymously message the Matchday Control Room direct on 07935 577897 to report any signs of abuse, anti-social behaviour, foul/abusive language or discrimination within the stadium, or email in confidence.
