Onto the game…
After the win over Morecambe on Saturday, Stevenage go into Tuesday’s game right in the thick of it around the play-off and promotion places.
Although Notts County and Exeter stand alone at the top of the pile, third placed Luton are just two points back from Boro in a congested Sky Bet League Two table. Only three teams have lost fewer games than Stevenage (2) after nine games played.
Carlisle on the other hand are beginning to pick up form after a slow start to the season.
Four points from their last two games, including a spectacular 5-0 win at Crewe on Saturday, has lifted some of the gloom that was beginning to settle at Brunton Park.

Darren Sarll has hinted that changes could be made for tomorrow night, depending on the fitness of his players following the weekend's game.
One player that will be available for selection is centre-back Luke Wilkinson, having now served his three game suspension following his red card against Lincoln City.

“It is tough but we are only 1 club out of 72, so I know how difficult a job scheduling the fixtures is.
“I remember that first win of mine at Hartlepool. We took 26 that night and I will never forget that number or moment with the supporters.
“So all of that makes the task a little bit harder but it is nothing we can't overcome.”
“We needed the win and it will be a big boost for the confidence within the group. Throughout this difficult run the changing room has stayed solid and kept the belief in how we want to do things.
“People will now be saying that I’ve got to play the same team on Tuesday night, but that won’t be decided until I’ve watched Stevenage. There are some players who have put a real shift in and there are others who I know can do a job, depending on the system we play."

Brunton Park certainly hasn’t been the most welcoming of away grounds for Stevenage – four defeats, two draws and just one win – make for a miserable record up in Cumbria.
Taking home games into account, the record doesn’t get much better. Just four wins, 3 draws and 8 defeats leaves no doubt about which side has had the better of things over the years.
Boro will be looking for a first victory against Carlisle since 2015, when Dean Parrett struck the only goal at the Lamex Stadium to secure a Sky Bet League Two play-off spot under Graham Westley.
