Sophie joined the club in the 22-23 season starting out in the Development side where she scored three goals in her 13 apearances against teams in the WNL South East Reserve Division. Her workrate saw her called up to the first team in March 2023 when Hendy came on as a substitute in a 4-0 win against Bowers & Pitsea. Sophie impressed again with a goal and an assist, grabbing her opportunity. Hendy made a further two appearances as the season drew to a close. This season, Sophie was up with the top goalscorers before injury caused her to lose her momentum, although she should be back for the New Year.
