Trio of Teddy's former clubs to visit The Lamex this summer...

Three of manager Teddy Sheringham's former sides will all be visiting The Lamex Stadium this summer in pre-season friendlies.

Former European Cup winners Nottingham Forest are first up on Friday 17th July (7.30pm KO). Dougie Freedman's side finished mid-table in the Championship last season and will be preparing for a strong start to the 15/16 campaign.

Millwall - where Teddy started his career and made 220 appearances, scoring 93 times -  are next up on Saturday 25th July (3pm KO). The two teams fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw last summer and Neil Harris' men will be looking to bounce back from relegation from the Championship and start their Sky Bet League 1 season in style.

The famous white and blue colours of Tottenham will then be visiting The Lamex when a Spurs XI comes to town on Saturday 1st August (3pm), just a week before the start of the new Sky Bet League 2 season. This game will of course see Teddy Sheringham manage against the side he made 236 appearances for during his career.

In the only away friendly currently confirmed, Stevenage will travel to Conference South outfit Wealdstone on Saturday 11th July (3pm). Boro signed both Tom Pett and Jerome Okimo from the Stones last summer and this will be the club's first visit to The Vale.

Ticket details for all fixtures will be announced in due course and further pre-season games will be revealed once confirmed.
