Matchday Guide: Boro vs Brewers

11 April 2024

The Lamex Stadium awaits for another big game in Sky Bet League One on Saturday…

Following Tuesday night’s victory over Barnsley in SG2, Stevenage’s play-off dreams remain alive with one key objective: win every game. With Oxford United and Lincoln City still to play each other, and with our visit to Kassam Stadium next Friday, that final play-off spot is still up for grabs.

  • Garden House Hospice Care

Saturday’s game is our dedicated Garden House Hospice Care fixture. The First Team will be wearing the limited edition yellow Third Strip as we celebrate this season’s partnership with the charity and the work they do in our community.

A bucket collection and raffle will also be taking place to help raise money for the hospice at The Lamex Stadium on Saturday, so please give generously when you see the volunteers around the ground and inside the bars. Every penny raised on Saturday will directly support families living in Stevenage at a time that matters most.

We’ll also have some extra half-time entertainment as Garden House Hospice Care’s ‘Harry The Bear’ takes on our very own Boro’ Bear in a halfway line sprint and shoot goal challenge.

Replica jerseys are available to purchase at www.stevenagefcshop.com and from the Stevenage FC Club Shop, with 25% of net profit benefiting compassionate care for local people facing a life-limiting illness in Stevenage and beyond.

To find out more about Garden House Hospice Care, please visit www.ghhospicecare.org.uk.
